This informational website provides resources offering insight to many of the issues that we face today. I hope that you will take away from this website a sense of freedom and well-being. We can change the world today by sharing our individual lives. I believe the little things in life are what count.
Judge's comments: The site offers an impressive amount of articles that really make you pause and reflect on what is written. I also enjoyed the sober yet very functional and clean design and navigation, without bells and whistles to keep the visitor’s attention on the content, which is absolutely what a site like this need. All in all a very enjoyable visit and well deserving this award!

McCartney's Journeys in Genealogy (16/05/2010, upgraded)
This site researches one branch of the McCartney genealogical tree. It includes stories and family legends and has a section where others researching McCartney lines can post their data. Finally, there are articles about the Celts, Cordwainers (shoe makers) and other topics of interest to family historians.
Judge's comments: I’ve seen this site evolve with every application: from a solid genealogy site that surpassed the mere listing of the genealogic chronology, to a truly marvel of a site where the genealogy goes hand in hand as equals with great genealogical assistance and thorough and clearly defined articles on various aspects of history and heraldry. We already know that the colours were perfect but now the navigational structure is as well. Very well done!
